A seasoned entertainment executive, Pinigin began his career in the media industry in corporate development at Fox Entertainment Group, covered diversified media and advertising in equity research at Wedbush Securities, and held senior roles in strategic planning and financial reporting, planning and analysis at National Geographic, MotorTrend (Warner Bros. Discovery), and Sony Pictures Entertainment. His most recent role was chief financial officer at the Sony-affiliated Great American Media. Pinigin received his MBA at the University of Notre Dame.
