Elliot Rutstein joined Shout! in 2008. Currently he is VP, Digital Channels & AVOD, responsible for informing strategy and operations for all AVOD, SVOD and FAST endeavors with distribution of the company’s vast film and TV catalog and growing portfolio of linear channels across numerous platform partners, including Pluto TV, The Roku Channel, Tubi, Amazon Channels and many more. In 2014, Elliot played a key role in launching Shout! TV, the company’s owned-and-operated streaming service. With 15+ years of industry expertise, he has a thorough understanding of video streaming technologies, digital ad operations, and content management systems.
Prior to Shout!, Elliot worked in research science, but his love of film eventually won out. He earned his BA degrees in Molecular and Cellular Biology and Philosophy from UC Berkeley. His passions include travel, record collecting, and recreational spreadsheeting.
